Vintage 1950's 2 Piece Girl Scout Outfit With Pins Patch Green 100% Cotton
This is a vintage 1950's two-piece Girl Scout's uniform.
Included are:
~ A green button-up shirt with a stand-up collar, short sleeves, and three metal pins. One pin is small, white, and green, with a four-leafed clover that reads "Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. 1912-1962" and "50" in the center of the clover. The second pin is gold with an eagle holding a ribbon and crops in its beak and talons. There is a shield on its chest and "G.S." above its head. The third is blue and gold-colored, also with clover, and with stars on the leaves. There is a green patch on the shoulder that reads "Girl Scouts USA". It measures approximately 21.75" from the back of the neck to the bottom hem, 17.75" from underarm to underarm, and 12" from the top of the shoulder to the end of the cuff when laid flat. This shirt was made from 100% cotton.
~ A green skirt of the same color and texture as the shirt. The skirt is plain with a button and zip closure. It measures approximately 11" across the waist and 28.5" from the waist to bottom hem when laid flat.
The set comes in very good pre-owned condition with a tiny spot of discoloration on the coat.
